AACCA was created to form a structured platform for cheerleading safety. The concept of the certification was to create stronger, safer athletes. The physics of cheerleading mixed with the intense emotional toll that any sport can have were all taken into consideration when creating the manual.
Active membership is drawn primarily from educational institutions; elementary schools, junior high/middle schools, and senior high schools. Additional membership includes independent teams, adjudicators, choreographers, and business affiliated with the dance community.
The mission of the U.S. All Star Federation is to maximize the number of participants benefiting from the positive life experiences of all star cheerleading and dance by developing competition rules and all star gym training guidelines consistent with the latest best known safety, educational, and ethical practices.
