CheerPros Gives Back
CHEER PROS CALIFORNIA ALL-STATE TEAM AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The purpose of the Cheer Pros California All-State Team and Scholarship Program is to encourage and promote the attainment of higher educational goals for individuals who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement and have made positive contributions to their community through their involvement in cheerleading and dance.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
- Current Juniors participating in Cheer or Dance at the High School or All-Star level.
- Current Seniors who will be attending a post-secondary institution leading to a degree or diploma from an accredited university or college.
- The applicant’s team must be registered for the 2012 Cheer Pros CA State Cheer and Dance Championships.
- Only one (1) application per athlete.
Up to 30 Finalists will be selected for the CHEER PROS CALIFORNIA ALL-STATE TEAM!
(10 High School Cheerleaders, 10 All-Star Cheerleaders & 10 High School/All-Star Dancers)
SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED
Athleticism scholarship:
$500 will be awarded to one (1) high school cheerleader and one (1) All-Star Cheerleader; and $250 will be awarded to one (1) dancer.
Academic achievement and community outreach scholarship:
$500 will be awarded to one (1) high school cheerleader and one (1) All-Star Cheerleader; and $250 will be awarded to one (1) dancer.
Top athlete scholarship:
$1000 will be awarded to one high school cheerleader and one (1) All-Star cheerleader and $500 will be awarded to one (1) dancer.
GRAND CHAMPIONS
CheerPros will award one high school cheer grand champion, one dance grand champion and one All-Star cheer dance champions at the 2012 cheer rose California State championships!
The team receiving the highest overall average score for the entire event will be awarded the grand Champion title and take home a cash prize!
The high school cheer grand champion will take home $1000!
The dance grand champion will take home $1000!
The All-Star cheer grand champion will take home $3000!

COACH AND ADVISOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
CheerPros has established the coach and advisor of the year award to recognize the outstanding cheer and dance coaches and advisors in the state of California we appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put towards coaching and within the industry both schools and Allstar coaches will be equally knowledged and received awards. Nominees will receive a letter in the mail.
Announcement of the finalists will take place during the awards ceremony at the 2012 California State Cheer & Dance championships. Each finalist will receive a plaque. The coach advisor of the year will also receive an award of $200!
BEST OF THE WEST CHEER & DANCE INVITATIONAL
CheerPros and U.S. Spiritleaders came together to create the best of the West cheer and dance invitational as a way to give back to all the teams, coaches and parents that have supported CheerPros and U.S. Spiritleaders throughout the competition season!
Top teams competing at one or more qualifying events have the opportunity to receive an invitation to compete at the fifth annual Best of the West Cheer & Dance Invitational on March 11, 2012 with no registration fees.
